Seventh Generation’s Free & Clear laundry detergent @Seventhgen #generationgood

3 common toxins and how to avoid them

Tips from Registered Nurse, Health Coach and mom, Sarah Kolman

Pollution and toxins are everywhere. It takes a little work to uncover all the sources of chemicals of concern in your home, but that’s the best first step to avoid exposure. Start with these three:

  • Parabens

Parabens are linked to breast cancer – look for “–paraben” on ingredient labels and steer clear!

  • Phthalates

Pthalates can mess with your hormones. Choose products that are fragrance free or scented with essential oils and say no to products made of PVC.

  • BPA

Linked to heart disease, diabetes, cancer and more. Use glass for food storage when possible, especially when heating. Avoid receipts.

I was selected to try Seventh Generation’s Free & Clear laundry detergent made for sensitive skin, for FREE! Join me in #generationgood to see if you qualify too, or get other opportunities. I received a product free for my honest review.
I was excited to try it because my son has really sensitive skin and often breaks out from regular detergent. I am happy to say after using this product he has experienced no skin irritations. The clothes smell good and the detergent did a nice job cleaning them. I think this is a detergent that we will continue to use as I am quite happy with it and I feel good about using it for my family.
